Food is one of the main features of Chennai. With so many options to choose from here comes a review about Hotel Shalimar. One of the famous non-veg restaurants in Perambur. This hotel is famous for its biryaani as are other hotels in and around perambur (SS Hyderabad Biryani is an example) We ordered their special barotta and butter chicken masala instead of their famous biryaani. The size was quite good and 4 barottas for 80 bucks was value for money. The butter chicken masala was a bit sweet for our taste but the quantity of chicken in it was quite good as well. Overall it was a good outing
